For years, Fidelity Investments has been one of many sponsors at investment shows and seminars for Active Trader consumers. They asked Medoff to develop a signature event that Fidelity could own exclusively to create a meaningful premiere relationship with this demographic.
The design challenges included hosting 12 exclusive workshops and seminars, transforming a vintage bank into and immersive branded environment, and creating a space for Mad Money's Jim Cramer to deliver a keynote speech.
With direct marketing to active traders only, the event sold out in 30 minutes and, with over 2,000 attendees, generated over $50 million in incremental trading with Fidelity advisors.
The transformed venue was highlighted by 16'-0" tall interactive pods to showcase the active trading via Fidelity's Active Trader Pro software technology.
